Think about "Design" in a painting: Is design present in realistic paintings as it is in abstraction?
Can you give thought to design, if one starts a painting at the left upper corner and finished at the lower right hand corner? Is composition a method to design? Is design important more than the painting itself? Let me know what you think.

    Hi

    Is there an email where I can reach you directly? I'm trying to locate the painter of a portrait in my possession. The only clue I have as to the artist is the signature in the corner "Zeller '60"
